These are white tail deer and are very wild. I saw them just before dusk and they also saw me. The deer in the foreground is stamping her foot at me in hopes I will go away. They come out of the woods in spring time to nibble on the neighbour's field.
Oh and the bike in the tree, that's kinda wild too!
They are beautiful animals. Nice photo--I was so focused on their faces staring at "me" through the camera that I didn't even notice the bike until I read your notation!!
ReplyDeleteYes, bikes in trees is sorta wild. Love the animals, too. How their eyes glisten...
ReplyDeletePerfect for the theme - how lucky are you to catch this (the bike does add some color, you are right, too weird)!
ReplyDeleteI thought all bikes grew on trees, but those eyes have me really worried, I wouldn't go there again as when the eyes turn red and start pulsating you are in REAL BAD trouble.
ReplyDeleteI'm kinda tired tonight. I didn't see deer until I enlarged the pic!! Too cool! Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteNice shot at dusk.
ReplyDeleteCool shot of a wild bike! Very rare!
ReplyDeleteNo, Ron, they don't grow on trees! The wild ones climb trees when they're frightened.
ReplyDeleteA lovely photo. Deer are just wonderful. I'd love to get some great photos of them like you have!
Great shot, I feel violated those eyes just stared right into my soul!
