#188 Monuments or Memorials

On the waterfront in Lunenburg is this unique monument listing all the fishermen from the Lunenburg area who died at sea.
It is in the shape of a Compass Rose.
On some pillars are the names of ships that were lost with all hands.

  4. An obelisk surrounded by inward facing triangular plinths is as fitting a statement on the circle of life as I can imagine. The setting surrounding colours an snow set it to atreat.
